MidTECH NHS Innovations West Midlands app for iPhone and iPad

MidTECH is one of a network of regional Innovation hubs created by the Department of Health to identify, protect and commercialise innovative concepts from within the NHS.
This app will allow innovative concepts to be formally disclosed to MidTECH and can accept text, free draw sketches, audio and images.
MidTECH works on behalf of the client Trust to evaluate an idea and ensure any associated intellectual property is protected. If appropriate, MidTECH will then help to develop and broker a deal with a suitable industrial partner, with the aim of commercialising the product for the benefit of the inventor, the Trust, the NHS and its patients. This could take the form of a licence, joint venture, or spin out.
